About Us

Honoring our Dead Ceremony

Honoring our dead is a sacred act of remembrance and gratitude. In many Mesoamerican traditions, death is not seen as an end, but as a continuation of the journey of the spirit. Our ancestors remain part of the living world through memory, ceremony, and the bonds of lineage that connect us across generations. When we honor them, we acknowledge that the path we walk today was shaped by those who walked before us. Let's do this together in ceremony. Lets laugh together, cry together, hold each other, support each other, and sing together as we build Grandfather Fire.

In this tradition, we create space to remember the lives, teachings, and sacrifices of our ancestors. Through altar offerings, planting a tree, herb or flower bulb, candles, flowers, food, and prayer, we invite their presence and give thanks for the wisdom they continue to share with us. The altar becomes a bridge between worlds, a place where the living and the departed meet in love and remembrance.

Our ancestors teachings remind us that they are not distant or forgotten. They are guardians of memory, protectors of the lineage, and companions on our spiritual path. By honoring them, we strengthen our connection to our roots, to the earth, and to the cycles of life, death, and rebirth that shape the natural world.

This act of remembrance invites us to reflect on our own place within the circle of life. Just as our ancestors guide us, we too become future ancestors for those who will come after us. Through ceremony, gratitude, and shared memory, we keep their spirit alive and carry their legacy forward.

In honoring our dead, we honor the continuity of life itself—past, present, and future woven together in one living story.

Practitioners of Curanderismo Gatherings

You are warmly invited to step into a space where the physical and the spiritual meet. This work is rooted in traditional ways of healing, carried through generations and offered with deep respect for those who walked before us. Here, we slow down, listen to the body, and make space for the spirit to be heard. In the quiet of this work, many remember what has always lived within them. You are welcome to come as you are and walk this path of care, presence, and ancestral remembrance.

In this space, healing is approached with patience and intention. The body holds its own wisdom, and when given time, attention, and gentle guidance, it often begins to speak in ways we may have forgotten how to hear. Through traditional practices, prayerful presence, and the use of plant allies, we create an environment where balance can begin to return.

The teachings that guide this work come from lineages that understood the deep relationship between people, the earth, and the unseen currents of life. Just as the rivers flow through valleys and the seasons move through cycles of rest and renewal, our own lives move through periods of growth, challenge, and transformation. This work honors those cycles.

Together we create a space of trust, reflection, and restoration. A place where the body can soften, the mind can quiet, and the spirit can breathe more freely. Whether you come seeking clarity, grounding, or simply a moment to reconnect with yourself, you are received with respect and care.

May this space offer you a moment to pause, to remember, and to reconnect with the living thread that binds body, spirit, earth, and ancestors together.

Solstice and Equinox Ceremonies

Community Ceremonies are free to all. Paid Services Available if desire.

You are warmly invited to help create a community altar as we honor the quiet turning of the seasons. Bring a small offering—flowers, candles, or seeds—to place on the altar, symbolizing Mother Earth and the deep stillness that each season brings. Together we will give thanks for the the season to come and acknowledge the natural time each season provides.

We will share a community feast, so please bring a favorite dish to contribute to our potluck table, feel free to bring main meat and vegetable healthy dishes. Food prepared with care becomes another way we nourish one another and celebrate being in circle.

As evening settles, we will gather around a bonfire to honor the seasons — each season brings restoration, reflection, and inward listening.

The ceremony will include paid traditional spiritual cleanses, the sharing of Hapé and Sananga for those who feel called, and will close with a ritual an a cacao ceremony followed by our shared feast in community.

All are welcome to come with open hearts and a spirit of gratitude as we enter each season together.
